Creating a harmonious expansion.

This project consisted of an interior remodel of the basement level of an existing medical building. The original medical clinic and surgery center was designed by our firm in 2003. When the owner of the building identified a need to accommodate additional medical providers with assisting nurse and administrative staff, while not disturbing the current operations on the main floor, we began the redesign of the basement to meet this need. The new space is divided into two separate tenant spaces which include 17 additional exam rooms, two procedure rooms, medical labs, nurse stations, offices, a shared conference room, a new reception and waiting room, and new stairs to provide a direct connection between the basement and main floor lobby. Special attention was given to providing the remodeled parts of the building with finishes that are in harmony with the existing finishes of the main floor to achieve a cohesive aesthetic.
