Creating a collaborative event space.

Completed as part of the Capitol Subaru project, the pavilion is an event space that is shared by the dealerships that make up the Capitol campus: Subaru, Chevrolet, and Toyota. The 1,000 sq. ft. covered pavilion was constructed with steel columns, framing connections, and tie rods in conjunction with glu-lam beams, wood framing, and mass plywood panels (MPP). The longer spans of the MPPs allowed for fewer beams and columns and a shorter construction duration. Pavers and lawn surround the pavilion, creating parking spaces for food trucks and flexible space to erect temporary tents for larger events. Cascade Landscape Management designed and installed the brick pavers, planter boxes, landscaping and lawn.
