Breaking Ground With a New Name

For the past 70+ years, Carlson Veit Junge Architects has earned the trust of our clients through honest direction and innovative designs. As our firm has evolved, we’ve stayed committed to these values — a commitment that continues as we announce our new name: Facet Architects.

Since our founding in 1951, the firm has progressed under the name of its partners, from Saabye Gribskov & Carlson Architects in 1988 to Carlson Veit Junge in 2019. Now, with Chris Veit’s recent retirement, and Mike Junge, Angela Flores, and Nick Wallace as fourth-generation principals, we felt it was time to make an update that allows all of our employees to see themselves in the firm’s identity. This inclusivity is a core value of our company, so it seemed right to select a name that is symbolic of our process of gathering information from clients, building users, and the community in a multi-faceted approach to finding solutions.
